Just below here is a link to a 5 minute video showing the main upgrade in Digital Hex Blitz version 1.3.23. It’s the ability to click on a defending unit and be able to have the computer calculate and show you how far they can move from their current location with the map board pieces set where they currently are. This is especially a benefit when an opponent has high movement point units and you may want to stay just out of arms length from them. Normally you’d be counting a lot of hexes to figure how far they could get in their turn. Well now you can leave all that calculating up to the computer and let it show you how far that unit can get as of the map board right now! I’ve never seen that in a game and have wished a million or so times playing a game that I could just know how far an opponent unit could get, all without having to count a lot of hexes for each, especially when playing as the defender. Well now you can with this latest update!!!

I’ve got a new scenario out! It’s called “Invasion Island – Alpha”.
It’s called Alpha in the title as it’s very, very early in the testing cycle for it, before even Beta version. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be able to have a lot of fun with it for free in the meantime!!
Also, I’ve got a lot of little enhancements built into the game since it’s last public release version.
I’ve made a 15 minute video which shows you playing the first player turn of the game and it shows a lot of the new features and it also shows you how to play the game. So what are you waiting for!?
